Why Choose an Apprenticeship with PEER?
At PEER, we don’t just offer an apprenticeship—we offer a full career pathway, with all the support, training, and opportunities you need to succeed.
Here’s what sets us apart:

Wide Range of Trades to Choose From
PEER offers apprenticeships across a variety of fields. Some of the trades we support include:

Electrical

Plumbing

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Data Communications

Office Administration
If you’re unsure which trade is right for you, our team is here to help guide you through the decision-making process and match you to the best-fit career path.

Real-World Experience from Day One
When you become an apprentice with PEER, you’re placed with a Host Employer. You’ll get hands-on training in a real workplace, learning the skills that are directly relevant to your career. This on-the-job experience means you’ll be job-ready faster and gain practical experience.

Earn While You Learn
Unlike traditional education, with PEER apprenticeships, you get paid while you learn. You’ll earn a regular wage, and we make sure everything—from superannuation to leave entitlements—is taken care of. This means no student debt, and you can start building your career and your savings right away.

Nationally Recognised Qualifications
Our apprenticeships lead to nationally recognised qualifications in your chosen trade, ensuring your skills are in demand across Australia.

Support Every Step of the Way
At PEER, we’re committed to your success. As a Group Training Organisation (GTO), we handle the process for you, including recruitment, safety gear, uniforms, wages, trade school, and more. Plus, our Apprentice Trainee Supervisors are always available to help with any challenges you face, whether on the job or in your studies.

Flexible Training Options
We offer blended learning, combining on-the-job training (with your employer) and off-the-job training (trade school). Our apprentices also have access to flexible training options, including online learning for certain trades.
