Leading the Electrotechnology Industry

On Friday 31 August, the National Electrical Communications Association SA/NT held their Industry Gala Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

This event recognises South Australia’s best and leading apprentices in the electrical and communications industry.

PEER congratulates their apprentices and graduates who have won the following awards:

Communications

1st place: Luke Hentschke
Luke recently completed his apprenticeship and is employed by Apex Energy Australia.

2nd place: Adam Saint
Adam recently completed his apprenticeship and is employed by Apex Energy Australia.

3rd place: Brendan Fagan
Brendan is placed with ICS Integrated Cabling Solutions Pty Ltd.

Commercial/Domestic

2nd place: Jacob Pooley
Jacob recently completed his apprenticeship and is employed by Dental Concepts.

Industrial

2nd place: Alister McNeil
Alister is placed with Tiley Industries Pty Ltd.

3rd place: Jarrod Morton
Jarrod completed his apprenticeship and is employed by BW Thompson Electrical Pty Ltd.

“In 2017, PEER commenced an Academy Model to better develop and support apprentices to become the best they can be,” said PEER Chief Executive Officer, Peter Nolan.

 

“Our focus on train, coach, mentor and support has revolutionised the engagement and whole person development of our apprentices,” he says.

 

“The recent introduction of a high-performance approach with Jacob Surjan and Mark Bickley, has further enhanced our apprentices’ motivation, engagement and capability.”

 

“PEER would like to thank partnered employers for their contribution towards the success of these excellent apprentices.”
