On Thursday 23 November, the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) held its annual National Excellence & Apprentice Awards Presentation at the Sydney International Convention Centre.
We are pleased to announce that PEER Data Communications Graduate, Christopher Cowan was successful in winning the Communications Apprentice of the Year Award.
Christopher recently completed his apprenticeship with PEER and is now employed by ICS Integrated Cabling Solutions Pty Ltd. Chris was an exceptional apprentice who showed great enthusiasm and passion towards the Communications Industry.
Christopher says it has been a great experience to be recognised for his passion in the Communications Industry.
“NECA and PEER have both done an outstanding job supporting and recognising apprentices for their hard work and dedication,” he says.
“I feel extremely privileged to have won the award for Apprentice of the Year in the Communications Industry. It is a highlight of my career and I look forward to what the future has in store.”
This is the third consecutive year a PEER Apprentice has won this National Award.
Thank you to all who have supported and mentored Christopher throughout this apprenticeship journey, and congratulations to Christopher on this fantastic achievement!
