Big Sister Program
What is the Big Sister Program?
The Big Sister Program is a women-only pre-apprenticeship pathway focused on electrical careers, including clean energy-related electrical trades. Delivered in partnership with PEER, the program supports women to build confidence, gain skills, and transition into electrical apprenticeships.
How the Program Works

Vocational counselling (information sessions) to school groups, community/ sporting groups, and job seekers (post-school cohort)

Accredited electrical pre-apprenticeship (Cert II Electrotechnology) training delivered by PEER

Mentoring from PEER ATS’s and additional support through Big Sister Program
