PEER ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH SYC LIMITED

  • Apprentice and student transition to PEER for training

  • Key focus is apprentices and students training success and wellbeing

A new strategic alliance has been formed between leading South Australian trades training provider PEER and Training Prospects, a division of SYC Limited.

SYC will transition the training delivery and assessment of Electrotechnology and Plumbing apprenticeships, and a number of short trade courses, to PEER to enable SYC to strategically focus on its core business.

The impact on apprentices and students will be minimal and they will continue their training as normal.

We warmly welcome apprentices and students of Training Prospects and their employers to PEER and look forward to effectively meeting their training and development needs.

A seamless transition will be facilitated for apprentices and students to complete their training for Electrotechnology and Plumbing trades and short courses at Training Prospects’ Elizabeth Campus (see APPENDIX A).

PEER’s head office and support services will remain at 1042 Port Road, Albert Park.

We are committed to supporting every apprentice and student who joins us to complete their training and grow into their chosen careers.  We look forward to helping them join more than 48,000 South Australian tradespeople who started their careers or trained with PEER over the past 30 years.

With 90 per cent of our apprentices completing their qualification and 95 per cent achieving employment in their chosen field, we look forward to working with our new students from Training Prospects, and their employers, and continuing to produce outstanding results.
