On Monday 22 October, the Barossa District Rotary Club held their 2018 VET Student of the Year Awards.

We congratulate PEER VET Year 12 Student, Lachlan Gosden from Faith Lutheran College, who won the High Achievement Award.

In addition to Year 12, Lachlan is also completing a UEE21911 Certificate II in Electronics course, delivered by PEER at Golden Grove High School. He is very keen to start an Electrical Apprenticeship when he finishes school.

He was nominated for his excellent achievements in this course and for his outstanding work placement report from CSJ Electrical.

“Lachlan is a capable student who has shown good organisation to maintain solid grades in his SACE subjects, while missing one day per week to do this VET course.” said Faith Lutheran College, VET Coordinator, Dianne Sanders.

Well done and keep up the great work Lachlan!
