Services

PEER Construction offers the finest in residential construction as well as custom new home construction. We have chosen residential construction because it is straight forward and clean. Estimates are far more accurate, and we can deal with a few contractors instead of many individual homeowners.

The two key elements of PEER Construction services are professionalism and quality. PEER Construction will highlight our professionalism as a service offering and quality to the customer.

PEER Construction fees – non-negotiable

Mark up fee 15.0% *Note – mark up is only added to materials
Overhead cost 20%
Call out fee of $75 is added to the cost of any work or repairs.
Travel time is priced at $0.85 cents per km.
Overhead fee is 20%.
An overhead fee of 20%. Is to be added to all labour costs.

Labour rate

Registered plumber or Licensed electrician is $120.00 per hour inclusive.

Apprentice hourly rates:

  • 1st year – $15.96 per hour
  • 2nd year – $22.66 per hour
  • 3rd year – $28.27 per hour
  • 4th year – $35.81 per hour

PEER Construction fees will be emailed to all employees so they understand and apply fees correctly.

Two percent of the overall budget has been set aside as a contingency to cover unexpected costs for PEER Construction’s objectives. This money is on reserve and not allocated to one area of PEER Construction.

Direct competitors

PEER Construction’s direct competitors are:

  1. Chain organisations: plumbing companies that are a franchise or a division of a larger chain. Chain organisations typically do repair work but sometimes do new building construction.
  2. Private companies: are typically local. To generate sufficient revenue, they offer a wide range of services.
  3. Large commercial & residential companies: the locals of the plumbing world they will bid on any type of plumbing project, commercial or residential, repair or new builds. Many jobs that these competitors work on are larger commercial projects and getting a contract with a volume home builder is attractive.
Evaluation of business plan
We will evaluate the financial business performance against the business plan by reviewing the PEER Construction’s profit and loss statement against financial strategic goal.

The referral rate will be reviewed against the PEER Construction database.

Other considerations - Renewal of lease
PEER Construction’s lease is due for renewal on 20 December 2024. Options for renewal or ownership will be identified before the renewal date.

All communication for information and negotiation. with the real estate agent must be by email.

The real estate agent will organise the completion of all contractual agreements. PEER Construction’s CEO will negotiate and finalise sale or lease of any property.
