Why send your apprentice to train at PEER?

PEER have been delivering apprenticeship training, pre and post trade training for over 30 years.

We have an excellent reputation and strong links to industry and we are the proud recipient of the 2014 South Australian large training provider of the year award. Our dedicated team of trainers and assessors are still working within the industries they teach in and many still own their own businesses.

We are focused on our students and want to help them succeed to be the best tradespeople they can be.

Contract of Training

Formal training is conducted through an accredited Contract of Training (COT) which is required for licensing outcomes for each certificate.

These contracts ensure the Apprentice gains competency in both on-the-job training at work, and their off-the-job, theory-based training at a Recognised Training Organisation such as PEER.

PEER offers a number of flexible training options to suit employers and students in all industries and locations including day release (1 day per week) or block release (1 full week per period).

Fees

Student fees are kept to a minimum and subsidies may be available.

TESTIMONIALS

  • The Apprenticeship has been awesome. I’m learning from teachers who are Electricians. I’ve also enjoyed getting the different tickets and licenses.

    Samuel Brien
    Electrical Apprentice
  • Everyone has been supportive at PEER and at my host company. I didn’t have trade experience before entering my apprenticeship so everyone has been patient with my learning. What I enjoy about my apprenticeship is the mix of practical and theory, it’s a good balance.

    Amelia O’Donald
    Data Communications Apprentice
  • I was good at Maths so I was drawn to an Electrical Apprenticeship. PEER offer really good job security and experience because they send you to different host employers and we gain a variety of experience which you probably wouldn’t get with a direct employer.
