Course Aim
This course provides an opportunity for Electrical Workers to develop and revise their knowledge and skills in the techniques of Rescue and Resuscitation.

Course Content
This class is both theory and practically based to ensure persons required to carry out, or help to carry out, electrical work are suitably trained in Rescue and Resuscitation (in accordance with recognised practice in the Electrical Industry).
Rescue and Resuscitation satisfies the requirements of Regulation 29 of the Electricity Act 1995 as well as meeting the requirements of the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs in the renewal application process for an Electrical Workers Registration.
In addition to the PEER VEET Statement of Attainment, each participant will be assessed and issued with a Certificate of Competency in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation.
In-house company training is also available. Training can be tailored to suit a workplace needs e.g., use of a ‘Rescue Kit’.
Pre-Requisites
- There are no pre-requisites required for this module.
Structure
- This course will involve theory and practical for both Rescue and CPR components.
