Course Aim
This course aims to provide plumbers with the knowledge and skills to safely carry-out the disconnection, connection and testing to electrical appliances in accordance with the legislation and AS3000:2000.

Course Content
At the end of the course the participant should be able to:
- Interpret installation requirements of AS3000:2000
- Connect, disconnect and reconnect electrical hot water systems
- Identify safe testing procedures
- Carry out self testing to the requirements of AS3000:2000
On successful completion you will be issued a statement of attainment which you can take to the Office of Consumer & Business Affairs for application of a restricted electrical licence.
Pre-Requisites
Students must be either:
- A fourth year Plumbing Apprentice. This course is available in class only and will involve theory, practical and assessment.
