The pre-requisite for this course is the successful completion of a nationally accredited Electrical Apprenticeship course and also holds an Electrical Workers Licence. Successful completion of this nationally accredited (generally two-year) Apprenticeship course will provide the necessary training for an individual to apply to the relevant authorities for a Contractors Licence. On receipt of this Licence an individual will be authorised to perform any electrical work for gain (not as an employee) in their right and conduct a business relevant to installations and servicing for domestic, commercial and industrial installations to the relevant standards and legislative requirements.
